EFFECTIVE STEPS OF DEALING WITH ANXIETY AND WORRY

Stress and anxiety affect our normal lives, it annoyingly discourage the social life of the person and continuously feed anxious thoughts and disrupt the person’s productivity to work. Learn the skills and methods of dealing with Anxiety and Worry are very important for the patient to sustain his normal life. Without the proper knowledge of effective ways in dealing with anxiety and worry will leave the patient living in fear and eventually away from the society, and it brings a lot of trouble to the love one and family.

WAYS DEALING WITH ANXIETY AND WORRY

Worry later – Try not to worry about things or problems in the future, focus on the issues at hand. If you work on solving the problems, you will gain more confidence and your mind won’t always think and worry about event that is not yet happen, and this helps to relieve anxiety, and eventually stop it from happening again.

Solve the problem – Instead of continuously worry about the issues, why not try to find some solution for it, and following the solution to fix the problems will relieve the mind from worry. We must either solve the problems or accept the fact that such problems would persists, anxious and worry won’t help you live better, and it give the reverse result. Understanding the anxious mind won’t help the problems, try to relax and just focus on finding the solution.

Manage thoughts – You should observe and know the nature of the things you are worrying, try to avoid unrealistic goal, or worrying about committing the mistake. When facing the problem, there are chances you will fail, but that doesn’t mean you are going to fail, just focus on solving the problem or achieving the goal. We should be able to decide what thoughts to foster and what to reject. If you know how to manage your thoughts, you will be dealing with anxiety and worry better.

Ignore unnecessary problems – When you are facing certain problems, you should be ignoring it if this is a tiny little issue. Unless you have a lot of time, you should sort your problems by importance and priority. If you can’t accept the little mistakes or problems, you will fill your mind with anxiety.

Trust Yourself – You must trust yourself, believe that you will recover from the anxiety disorder, and you are capable to handle panic attacks. When you encounter a problem, you will try your best to find the solution, and if the problem can’t be solve, you will accept the fact that it is unsolvable. Accept criticism and constantly improve your skills to solve the problems will help you build up your self-confidence. Detach your mind from the unsolvable problems and concentrate on solving the issues at hand, trust yourself in dealing with anxiety and worry!

Observe and Analyst – Understand the anxiety by observing your feelings, trace the source and analyst the reasons. When you understand the causes, you will be able to face it and reverse the process and cure it. Continuous fears and worries will only make you suffer more.

OVERVIEW

Shifting your mind to other direction would help to stop the worry, at least at the moment of concentration.  Use various stress management skills and practice soft exercise like Taiji, Yoga or meditation will slowly relieve the anxious thoughts and feelings until recovered, this is one of the best way in dealing with anxiety and worry.
