Times are getting tougher, the credit crunch is starting to bite and our money is becoming stretched by higher petrol, gas and food prices. The majority of people are looking into ways of reducing their outgoings and I personally do not believe there is a better way than stopping smoking.

I do not work within the quit smoking industry; I am actually involved with selling upvc doors, providing fostering services and offering one-to-one stuttering courses.

A typical cost of a pack of 20 ciggies is now about five and a half pounds – just think about how much money YOU could save by giving up the smokes. You must have more money than sense if you can really afford to waste it on those cancer sticks during these troublesome financial times.

Now I understand that it is not easy to stop smoking, nobody ever said it was. You owe it to yourselves and your family to give it your best shot. Your family do not want you to die prematurely and the money that you are spending could be being put to better use.

In this day and age there are numerous ways and forms of help to aid people who have decided that the time is right to quit smoking. Governments from around the world are actively encouraging people to stop smoking and have provided many free resources to help people.

Learn to live life a different way – a way which is smoke free – find out about the best ways to stop smoking today. It is never too late and if you do not want to do it for yourself, do it for your family. At the end of the day you want to live long enough to meet your grandchildren and great grandchildren, don’t you?

You know it makes sense the time is right to stop.
